Merrily Unhappy

Yup. This is gonna be quick & dirty. I’m in a horrible mood and am having a hard time shaking it this morning. I hate those days that you simply wake up and want to rail against the world. For some unknown reason, I have zero patience with work, the family, the boy everything today… well ok, mostly work…. everything else is progressing at it’s normal pace and I guess it’s just frustrating since we’re supposed to generate revenue here- for this week, and I find it hard to even get a meeting set up. For starters, we’re out of the office starting xmas eve…. as well as the entire city seemingly being gone already for the holidays. Walk The Line

Wow… where to start? I spent the majority of the weekend, either at work or in self-imposed social isolation. Which actually, was really needed. At the risk of sounding mellow-dramatic, my SOUL actually needed the quiet time. I read alot, which was great and I ended up finishing two books over the course of the weekend. I had to be at the club on both Friday and Saturday, which was fun… it wasn’t busy, so I got cut pretty early. Which I didn’t really mind. Technically, the club wasn’t supposed to open till NYE, but we were able to actually open the first week in Dec- so the way we look at it, is that all these shifts in between, are just an added bonus.
